Bankers Insurance Group is proud to team up with the Latin American Association of Insurance Agencies to bring you a new partnership program. Through this partnership, your agency will have the ability to offer our Primary Flood, Excess Flood and Artisan Contractors General Liability “Vector” program to your agency’s clients.
In addition to these products, as an agency owner you will be able to take advantage of our “Bankers Agency Solutions” program. This program offers coverage to your agency through Bankers Business Owners program as well as back-end services through our PEO group, Bankers Employer Services.
Commissions will be paid directly to the agency at the following rates:

There are a few requirements to participate in this partnership program:
- Your agency must be in good standing and maintain an active membership in LAAIA.
- Agency must pass required state and federal background checks to qualify for appointment. Background checks take 10-14 working days at a minimum to process.
- Participation in electronic banking (agency sweeps of NB premium and direct deposit of monthly commissions) is mandatory.
- Bankers Flood product will be made available based upon the agency’s eligibility. Eligible agents are those that have not previously sold the flood product through Bankers Insurance or First Community Insurance Companies. Final eligibility will be determined by Bankers.
- Producers must be appointed with Bankers in order to hold binding and signing authority. Producer appointments are billed at $62.10 per candidate and are valid for two years (based upon the producer’s DOB). At least one producer must be appointed per agency. To become appointed, candidate must complete the Agency Licensing Information form and forward original completed forms with payment to the LAAIA Marketing Representative, Dulce Suarez-Resnick.

Please pay attention to the following points when completing your paperwork:
- Contracts must be signed by an officer of the company, all partners of the partnership or the individual owner.
- The Agent Licensing Information form must be completed by an officer of the company, all partners of the partnership or the individual owner, as well as any General Lines agents that wish to have binding and signing authority. Please make sure the social security number and date of birth are legible as this information is primary to the background checks.
- Producer appointment fees are $62.10 per producer; all Agent Licensing Information forms that are completed will require this payment. Make all checks payable to Bankers Insurance Company. All appointments are valid for 2 years, based upon the producer’s date of birth.
- A current copy of your E&O Declarations page is required for contracting. (Certificates of Insurance are not acceptable.) We cannot contract with an agency that does not carry E&O
