Hard to believe we are at the midyear mark. Summer is here which means school’s out, beaches are full, the laughter of children is heard at pools and parks throughout our sunshine state… as well as Hurricane Season…and the end of my Presidency! We have had a year full of ups and downs in our industry but all in all, I could not be prouder of what we have accomplished as an association. Looking back on this year, we have grown our membership, represented our consumers and industry partners in our Legislative Fly-In in Tallahassee, joined forces with other industry associations such as PIA of Florida and NAAIA New York to expand our footprint and most of all we had some interesting speakers at our monthly networking dinner meetings. However, as much as we have accomplished this year, we still have so much more to do. We must continue our goal in making this association the very vocal industry association, in our never-ending quest to make a difference in our industry and in our businesses. So, I ask you not to give up. To continue to attend dinner meetings and communicate with us on how we can better help you. We are gearing to kick off our spot light event, the 48 th Annual LAAIA Annual Convention, and I could not be more excited. Make sure that you take the time to attend and network with all the industry partners our association and trade fair have available for you every year. Attend the CE classes and educate yourselves for this is the only way you are going to stand out and help your customers and most of all, come to our trade fair and speak to all 157 exhibitors.
